Kate Walton is a Canberra-based writer, editor, translator, photographer, advocate, and development worker.

I have written for outlets including Al Jazeera, VICE, The Interpreter, South China Morning Post, New Naratif, Rappler, Roads & Kingdoms, and Southeast Asia Globe, and has worked for a range of NGOs and projects including those funded by USAID, GIZ, and ADB.

I also edit and translate both English and Indonesian, focusing on NGO publications and academic journals from Indonesian universities.
